The obstetrics team at Schärding Hospital would like to congratulate you on the birth of your child and welcome you to the department. We attach great importance to a family atmosphere in our hospital. We can also offer you a comprehensive range of services at our clinic, both during and after the birth. Pregnancy and birth are undoubtedly outstanding events in the lives of parents-to-be. However, it is a time that is not only full of anticipation, but also raises a number of questions and brings with it some fears.

During this time, competent advice, care and support from doctors, midwives and the entire nursing staff is of great importance. This brochure is intended to answer your most urgent questions and concerns after the birth. The following pages will give you a concise overview of the first time with your child so that you can adjust to the new situation with your baby and soon find a common rhythm of life.
