Prescription and Refill
The initial prescription will be issued during your inpatient stay.
With a prescription form, you can obtain the necessary supplies from an orthotics and prosthetics specialist of your choice. The exact procedure will be explained to you before discharge.
Outpatient Follow-Up Care
Questions and uncertainties about managing your stoma often arise only once you return to your daily routine.
Regular outpatient medical and nursing follow-up care is recommended. Appointments will be scheduled before or at the time of discharge.
